Well, I’ve been…something, and I’ll just leave it at that.
I am opting not to tag anyone else, as most of the usual suspects have already answered this, and I am flipping schedules tonight, so I really don’t know how much I’ll be around to follow up on answers.
So, on that note…Away we go 😎
How did you come up with your blog name?
I really hate telling this story if I am being completely honest. 😄
Mostly because it’s like reliving a bad dream.
Long story short, I lost my job, I was feeling pretty low at the time, and for some odd reason, decided a blog would be a good way to occupy my time and distract me. Since it was a new “beginning”, so to speak, I nicked the name off one of my favorite Black Label Society songs, and well…Here we are.
If I am being completely honest, I had zero intention of doing this for this long, and didn’t go too crazy coming up with a title. If I don’t end up shutting this down completely at some point, I’ll probably change the name someday.
If your blog was a person (fiction or real), who would it be?
Why, the Gorilla God-Emperor of All Time, Space and Reality, of course.
What helps you create new content if you feel like you need some inspiration?
Oh, God…This is one I can’t answer even on my best day. I don’t know where most of it comes from to be honest. I’d say it’s equal parts rage, depression, passion and outright silliness.
Sometimes, a special person may inspire the words, but I find those are the ones that unfortunately, I often cannot articulate as well as I’d like. Hopefully when I make the attempt, they at least appreciate the effort.
Is there anyone you would like to collaborate with?
I have already done a couple collabs here and here with my one of my absolute favorite partners in crime.
While I certainly would be open to others, time is just not something I have a surplus of lately. It would be nice if that changed at some point, as I barely have time to get my own stuff out there as it is. I am also not the easiest person to work with, so it would take someone with the patience of a saint to do it. 😄
Is there anything more you wish you had or would like to learn as a blogger?
If I am being brutally honest, I am so back and forth on the whole writing venture to begin with, that I can’t give a concrete answer to this one. If I had one ask, it would be that stuff didn’t change on this platform at the drop of a hat, as that gets a bit frustrating.
Do you have a specific style of blogging?
Oh, God no. 😄
I change directions so many time in the course of a day that I don’t think I could ever categorize it.
