In a touch of irony, I actually cut this prompt some slack. It’s far from the worst one they’ve ever done, but the bar is also fairly low to begin with. 😄

That said, I don’t feel like answering it in it’s original form now. But, since I haven’t done a daily prompt in a hot minute, what the hell, eh?

Problem is…

What the hell should I write about instead?

I can talk about how No Theme Thursday is having another banner week. Over 40 entries at the time I am drafting this post!

I have said it countless times, but it’s all thanks to the fine folks of the WordPress community that it’s even possible. If not for all of you reading, writing and participating, that thing would have died out very, very quickly. So, again, my deepest thanks.

Or, I can talk about how my main man E-Dawg has taken a sabbatical.

I don’t know what’s up, and it’s none of my business either. I just hope you’re okay and come back to us soon. Your presence here is vital and appreciated.

I could talk about how today marks my 90th day at my most recent job.

Yes, I have survived. 😄

Truthfully, like any other job, it has it’s b.s. to contend with, but I was happy that my boss likes my work and has been very encouraging. It’s been a bit of a grind, as I have been picking up some extra shifts, but I’m being compensated, so it makes it bearable.

I’m still looking to get to a day shift at some point, as sleep is still an issue *cough cough* (Yes, I know…), and that is one routine I am totally NOT fond of skipping.

Thankfully, in a few more weeks I will have some breathing space. Just gotta make it until then.

Well, whaddaya know? I managed to find some stuff to talk about after all.

On that note, I wish everyone peace and good health. Have a great day/evening.

    Sometimes the posts that talk about nothing at all end up being the most enlightening ones 😆
    We both need to work on sleep. But I think you do more than I do 🤪

      Yes, I don’t know about that, but again, I don’t have the juice to argue the point right now and I know you don’t either 😉
      I tend to find those are the ones I sometimes really end up enjoying the process with. I just land wherever. 🤷‍♂️

    Glad to hear about your job, bro, hope you get some decent sleep soon. A big THANK YOU for NTT… coming up with the artwork, looking for entries, tracking the ping backs, organizing the content, checking the links… week after week…I used to be the web guy for a marketing group with ridiculous deadlines. I understand how much work you put into NTT…and I’m sure everybody in our community appreciates your efforts that create relationships and fosters creativity and camaraderie.     Also want to say that I’ve been writing for a lot of prompt sites but none interested me as much as yours. I’m super comfortable here and have dropped some of the other less interesting sites I was following. It feels good to be rid of the stuff that was dragging me down.       Nancy go to your My Home page and you should have an option to view or hide WP daily daily writing prompts. If you’re not currently seeing them every morning, you must have it set to “hide.”
