The red sky in the above image spoke to me in tones of war. While there is nothing glamorous about warfare, there is a certain nobility to the warrior.
To know the risks of battle and still step onto the field, and to press on no matter the odds, takes a fortitude that not all are blessed with.
While the “civilized” person may not praise war, they must respect those who possess the barbarian virtues. For it is often thanks to them that a civilized life is even possible.
