These are my replies to Kymber’s Get To Know You, Vers. 52.0!

Check out her blog for this, and other fun posts!

Whatโ€™s your favorite thing to do on a rainy day?

Much like other bloggers have said, a good nap is always nice!

That said, one can never go wrong hiking in the rain either!

Hit the trail, baby!

Whatโ€™s your favorite thing about your current stage of life?

The fact that despite being a more *ahem* mature gorilla, I am still in relatively good shape and can function somewhat normally. ๐Ÿ˜„

I would also be remiss if I did not mention the fact that I am fortunate to have so many fantastic people in my life. ๐Ÿ™

Always a good feeling to have ones who care in your life.

Whatโ€™s a piece of advice youโ€™d give to your younger self?

Whatever you’re thinking, do the opposite!!! ๐Ÿ˜„

Nah, kidding. Kinda. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I would probably just tell me not to worry so much about what others think, and ignore the idiots trying to hold you down. What they are doing/saying speaks far more about them than it ever will about you.

That’s it for this round! Stay frosty, kids!

  2. Yes. I don’t mind walking in the rain, as long as it’s not freezing. Otherwise, staying at home with a hot drink and fleecy blanket while watching a DVD or something will be more tempting.

    1. Freezing rain is definitely no bueno for me. That’s pneumonia stuff right there. Even I am not quite that foolish, and I am pretty damned foolish at times LOL!

  6. I do love walking in the rain, actually I just love the rain in any scenario. So many people are like “I like it but only when Im indoors” but even though you get DRENCHED, being out in it is also pretty special.

    1. As long as it’s not freezing and windy, I am good. I don’t mind cold or wet, but not the two together! LOL

  8. You managed to unlock a core memory with hiking in the rain, I was once a girl scout and we did this during one if our camping trips ๐Ÿ˜„

We were a buncha girls in the woods, singing, crying, and complaining all at once. Comedy.

    1. I actually had a similar experience when I was in the service. We were out in the field for about three days in the middle of winter on a training exercise, and it was pouring rain. My feet got soaked and by the time we got back to base a few days later, my feet were completely destroyed.

Soaked, cracking and bleeding. I could hardly walk by the end of it all. Not a great time!

      1. Oh, you know pain in a greater level than I do, in that regard. I feel you though, it’s hard to enjoy anything when pain is present and in the winter!
