I did reply to this last year and named just one (very important) gift, but this year, as I sit here preparing to brave the tundra and chip away a ton of pesky ice, I am enjoying a coffee and reflecting on all the gifts I have been fortunate to receive.

And yes, fighting the ice does feel like a battle, indeed.
In last year’s reply, I said that fatherhood was the greatest gift I have ever received, and of course, that answer is still very, very true.
I will be ever grateful for the blessing of my daughter. Through all of life’s trials and tribulations, she makes everything worthwhile.

And as much as I may bitch about it, I am grateful to have a decent paying job with a good team working with me. It has it’s moments, like they all do, but overall, it could be far, far worse.

And, of course, I am very grateful to have a mischievous bank-heisting, diamond-stealing Catwoman to chase around. We all need someone to keep us on our toes, eh?

Gotta keep an eye on that one, I tells ya…
And, of course, last, but definitely not least, I am very thankful for the friendship and camaraderie I have found here on WordPress. Again, I might bitch and moan about the platform, but the community is truly a special one. I try not to take that for granted, so thank you all for your support and kindness. Don’t ever change!

Hell yeah, y’all rock!
And on that note, I must finish my java and prepare to battle the frost giants! Have a good one y’all! Crom!

Aye! Battle on the frozen plains! Or sidewalks in my case…
