Good morning, all.

Why “Wave It Off Wednesday” you might be asking?

Because I am waving off the fight and giving up for today. πŸ˜„

My dumb ass thought it would be fun to get my fingers crunched by a a metal plunger an hour before going home today. πŸ™„

On the upside, I don’t think anything’s broken. On the downside, they hurt like hell, and I am sure they will for at least a couple days.

My job is definitely not for everyone.

Sucks, because other than the oppressive heat, everything was going pretty well. But, it could have been worse – They could have been completely crushed, or I could have been the guy who got cut in the jock by a drive chain last week in another facility.

Soooo…How’s everyone else doin’? πŸ˜„

My best wishes to all for a fantastic day. Made up a few pics for the hell of it.

      I can still move them, so I’m not too worried about them being broken. They’re just puffy and swollen right now. I’m sure it will pass.

    That looks painful what kind of work do you normally do? Is it like machine maintenance? I read drivetrain so I am assuming car shop. But I hope you recover soon. And I love your graphics do you use AI or make them yourself? Really cool illustrations you have.

      Drive chain off a heavy machine actually. It kicked up while the maintenance guy was standing over it.

      I’m a supervisor, actually, I just happen to be a hands on supervisor πŸ˜„

        That’s awesome dude I used to work in restaurants during college and the best supers were the ones who were hands on they usually have so much more to teach. And they are in tune with ground level work unlike senior management. Anyways, those AI illustrations are awesome keep them coming.

        Well I started at the bottom of the ladder and worked my way up through the ranks, so I know what it’s like. I’ve never been the guy to walk in with a fancy diploma and think I knew what was up LOL

    I hate waking up and seeing you injured 😒 I do think an x-ray isn’t necessarily the worst advice either, but hopefully you’ll at least keep ice on them. Looks super painful! This nurse definitely does wish she could give you a hand (maybe not literally, but you know what I mean!) so please, please keep an eye on it, don’t want an internal infection in the fingers or lasting damage πŸ™β€οΈ
